At the moment there is great potential for budding scriptwriters to make money. The movie industry is doing well especially with things like 3d where they can make extra money from things like sales of 3d glasses. Also the technology needed for great special effects in movies is getting cheaper all the time. One thing suggested for budding scriptwriters is joining a support group with other writers where they can read and offer positive criticsm for each others work. One difficulty for scriptwriters is in getting anyone to read there work. This is the next best thing with also other scriptwriters tending to be knowledgeable about the craft. One scriptwriters make is in basing a character on theirself. The characters need a certain independence and be individuals in their own right. Many good story too feature a dilemma for the lead character which must be resolved. Probably the most well known is in Hamlet where the lead characters father and king has been murdered and he must decide if to get justice even at the cost of his own life. There are many books on writing and it is worth reading these. This book is around a 100 pages so is a reasonable length. I did enjoy reading this and do recommend it.
